KP Smyth

This project entailed the design of new ground floor offices for commercial real estate agency KP Smyth at the site of a former, corner pub. The interior borrows from Six Degrees’ signature hospitality architecture, to achieve an informal, yet professional environment. The resulting contemporary office is exposed to the street through shop front glazing. 

The design seeks to reveal the history behind previous renovations, by reinstating the front bar of the Royal Hotel and using materials that trigger memory and remind us of past eras. Interior details emphasise a handmade, hand-crafted aesthetic.
