Ticketmaster Offices
This project involved the refurbishment of an existing office building to accommodate Ticketmaster’s Australasian headquarters. As part of the music industry, the client sought a contrast to the predictable corporate fit out, to more appropriately reflect their unique culture.
With the dual challenge of a low budget and extremely short timeframe, the design strategy was to do minimal changes to existing conditions (the carpet and suspended ceiling were retained) and introduce a rich palette of materials such as plywood, truform beams and textured glass through all new design insertions. Plywood cladding is used for all new partitions which meant using less trades and it’s off the shelf availability allowed for a fast turnaround.
Typically ‘behind the scenes’ construction products such as truform beams, formply, plywood and form-a-tube are used for partitions and joinery, manipulated and detailed to present a fine finish with a unique aesthetic.
