Mountain High Shopping Centre
This project entailed the revitalization of a suburban shopping centre with the creation of a large, new building housing a full-range supermarket and 35 retail and hospitality tenancies.
The building sits on a robust, concrete podium that is expressed around the extent of the sloping site. We aimed to bring a human quality to the sizeable, commercial space through various means including materiality, the collection and re-use of rainwater and the introduction of natural light and views into the public spaces of the building.
