Eastern Freeway Sound Walls
Six Degrees was commissioned by Vic Roads to design a paint scheme for the huge, timber clad noise walls along the eastern freeway, the largest noise walls in Victoria. Our design is a kind of camouflage for the timber – staining it in a pattern of different natural hues. This helped to blend the walls into bush landscaping around them and break down their colossal scale to something more human.
