150-year old heritage Collingwood site re-imagined as a social enterprise — a revolutionary transformation, with community in mind.

Converting the site of a former brothel into a training academy for disadvantaged young people to gain experience and skills in hospitality. It provides a relaxed setting for gatherings, learning and functions, with a café, roastery and catering as the activity hub, sprawling out to sun-filled outdoor spaces for guests and weekend markets.

"There are no better designers of wondrous human-scale spaces in this city than Six Degrees - and we're so grateful for daily working in places you've created for us to do transformative work with young people.’" Rebecca Scott, OAM, STREAT Co-Founder & CEO

"Our vibrant places and spaces, feel non-institutional, foster safety and connection, linking young people to their community and nature. This 'secret sauce' of STREAT's work is the result of hundreds of hours of careful planning and designing with the Six Degrees team.” Rebecca Scott, OAM, STREAT Co-Founder & CEO
